This darling couple said “I do” at the Spanish Hill Country Club in Los Angeles, surrounded by lots of loved ones and oodles of color! Kolette and Daniel hosted a fall wedding, and with the help of Alex Rembac-Goldberg from Sterling Engagements, all the details came together beautifully. “From the moment I met them, I knew that Kolette and Daniel were the type of couple we love to work with. They are so in love with each other and complement one another to the best degree possible. Daniel is a doctor and Kolette a nurse and for two individuals who work so very hard professionally, it is inspiring to see how much fun they have together personally in the life that they share.”
“Kolette and Daniel knew that they wanted to have a fall wedding and were also in agreeance that it would be extremely large and a celebration full of love. Spanish Hills Country Club was the perfect backdrop for their beautiful ceremony and not to miss reception. Their fall color palette included cranberry, dark orange, chocolate brown and a beautiful chartreuse green. These colors were blended together through their floral décor, linens, lighting and lounge furniture. We loved working with Peony and Plum on this rustic elegant design, especially when she worked with us to create that ombre aisle runner and infused real cranberries into the centerpieces.”
A visual highlight was certainly this dramatic ombre aisle runner! Fab floral designer, Susan Tom-Nellis of Peony and Plum told us about the design. “We were excited to create the ombre rose petal aisle for Kolette and Daniel’s ceremony. It really gave the somewhat traditional outdoor ceremony area a lot of drama and led the eye up to the raised area where the bride and groom exchanged their vows. Also, the venue required that an aisle runner go underneath the petals so we decided to continue the ombre effect by visually connecting the burgundy rose petals at the end of the aisle to a wine colored aisle runner that went up the stairs.”
“Since the wedding took place in October, Kolette and Daniel wanted rich and vibrant Fall colors for all of their florals. We included fresh cranberries in the centerpieces too for another added touch of Fall.”
As medical professionals, the couple opted for patient bracelets for the escort cards!
Alex Rembac-Goldberg noted the bracelets weren’t the only personal touches in this reception! “It was important to Kolette that we incorporated an abundance of personal details into the day as well. One of my favorite details was their table numbers. We were able to use special family and friends’ wedding photos as part of the number, in addition to, facts from their wedding just for fun. Another extremely personalized detail were their escort cards which played off of their professions in the medical industry. Hospital bracelets were designed with fun details which navigated guests to their seats.”
Even bride and groom bobble heads flanked the head table. Cute!
The white wedding cake and delish dessert bar was done by one of our favorites – Fantasy Frostings. Yum!
And guests left their forever imprint before the night wrapped.
Congratulations to the newlyweds!
