The Bridal Bar Blog is a sampling of what we find to be the best of the best in the bridal business.  It’s a mix of event recaps that we participate in, real wedding samplings (many by our Bridal Bar members), product reviews, vendor reviews and highlights, industry information, our own adventures in LA, along with a few tips, trends, and must-hit sales.

The pre-screened and highly edited group of event professionals that make up The Bridal Bar membership are featured extensively on this blog, though certainly not exclusively.  We make no secret that our talented and qualified vendor members pay a membership fee to be a part of our elite group, and our blog uses them often as resources for content.  Those members are extensively screened and referenced checked and are invited to join our group based on impeccable reputations and to create a variety of style, price, and area of expertise within the group.  In the essence of full disclosure (and because we are so proud of them), we want you to be aware of who are members are – so we’ll tell you most often with a footnote in the post if the content came from a member.

We absolutely encourage non-member companies and/or products to send us submissions too!!  Lots of stories, weddings and events seen here frequently are by companies across the county, the country and the world.  And we do our very best to adhere to the same service standards you would find in our membership so you know what we write about, you can trust.  We do not take free product in exchange for promised blog write ups, though we do enjoy the occasional cake slice to make sure we like (but that’s free to brides-to-be as well)!  We hope this clarifies any questions you may have about the transparency of our blog.  We also hope our blog is informative, inspirational, and fun at the same time and we hope to have you back daily to see what we are up to.

How can I submit to The Bridal Bar Blog?

To submit a real wedding, proposal, rehearsal dinner, event or inspiration shoot, please follow these guidelines to ensure the proper review of your event:

Bride & Groom Names
Contact Information (email)
Event Date
Location(s) – Name of properties and city, state or country
Tell us about your event in your own words.
• What moments were most memorable?
• What was your vision? How did you bring it together?
• Any unique or notable elements you want to point out?
• Anything pictured that needs explanation?
Who was your team? Please include a list of key vendors to be considered for credit with web addresses for each and don’t forget your gown designer!
Who was your photographer? Photo credit is required for all submissions.
50-80 low resolution (72 dpi) photos at least 600 pixels in width. No watermarks accepted.  Photos accepted via WeTransfer.com, YouSendIt.com, DropBox.com, other FTP sites or zip files.
We seek to share the entire visual story of the day so select images that tell thestory with a heavy focus on details and environments.
Please note that the wedding or event cannot be up for consideration or been previously published on another wedding blog or in print (excluding the blogs of the vendors who facilitated the event).

Due to the volume of submissions, please allow one to two weeks for a response.  And thank you for sharing your event with us!
